I never got an answer and the website i still pirating their stuff. I look at it more like a method to make piracy more inconvenient but it’s not a full protection.Ī fun fact is that i have send a mail to Navigraph months ago telling them about a website pirating their nav data. When it comes to protections like online license validation we can see that EVERY aircraft for MSFS has been cracked so far no matter what kind of protection it has. Now you are having people who want loads of handcrafted airports but don’t want to pay thousands of dollars to get them all.
I think people won’t really have an issues with popping something like 20 bucks for an airport but having hundreds or even thousands of locations in the game doesn’t really help. The first reason is that the game was advertised to a wider audience including more casual players and the second reason is the amount of possible add-ons. I think there are 2 connected reasons for piracy in MSFS. The one who want an endless stream of cheap entertainment (they could have that with all these Playstation+ und XBox passes with ease, more games than they could ever play!)
